Issue 40 - April, 2012

Spring is here again at Gateway with its usual rebirth and new growth. The ranch is adding a new joyful, spiritual horse trainer/vet tec from Montreal. Nadia has also worked for the zoo there for 10 years so that should at least qualify her for life here. With all our construction (we are finally adding on to the Barn/House) we will need an extra guy to help there and also to help Nadia cook in the retreats as that is her weak spot.

We have had our usual spring visitors and retreats are starting April 20th. The horses are on a diet post to not moving all winter and are begging for attention so we'll be bringing them out to ride and play soon.

The very most exiting thing that has birthed this last week is the 30 min documentary by Lisa Lighbourn-Lay based on the book One With the Herd. It is bound for PBS and the film festivals so it can't be aired yet but has its own FB page with the trailer so please like and share with friends.

I have hired two PR firms to re-launch the book and help promote the film so we're looking forward to some world interest in horses as higher beings with their own unique contribution here at the Equinisity Retreats. As Connie Funk says in the film: "I believe deeply that horses are calling us in unique ways to save us from ourselves. They are bringing us back to the awareness of our own unique heart, unique soul, because they have never lost that connection" It's such a powerful movie and I can't wait for you to see it. The Guest Retreats are looking amazing with a wide variety of offerings including everything from animal and nature communication and healing to angels and sacred geometry and our home as a reflection of our greater body and life. This is the year to really commit to finding your hearts desire along with true freedom, joy, abundance, health and unconditional love for all life.

I discovered a website called www.christsletters.com which has an audio page with some amazing insight and Christ's new interpretation of what has so often been misinterpreted in the Bible. It is really the secret behind 'the Secret'. " From the site: "There is nothing solid under the sun. If you heal your beliefs, the wrong beliefs will vanish as the mist under the sun. When a person comes to me for healing I rejoice, I give thanks…I know that the Father's will is health, not sickness. Sickness is nothing more than a lowering of vitality, a reduction of life. It is only in your minds that you perceive evil…. These thoughts have nothing to do with the real God which is the Father within you bringing you good things if you believe it is so."

Fiona Habershon, Guest Practitioner for the Angels and Animals retreats will be arriving May 5th and staying at Gateway for six months. We will be collaborating on some shorter 3 day retreats as well as Fiona will be available to demonstrate her abilities as a healer, animal behaviorist and zoopharmacognocist locally as well as her usual distance work ... that is when we're not galloping around in the hills and laughing uncontrollably.

This year May 12 we are offering another Equine Awareness Day, a free day at the ranch where you can experience a mini retreat. Fiona and Nadia, our new trainer will help with healing and the Herd. Space is limited so please e-mail to reserve your place.

Very similar to when humans believed the world was flat and then suddenly they changed their beliefs and opened to a whole new reality, there will be a change in consciousness that will not allow horses (and other animals) to be persecuted as they have in the past. If one is compromised we compromise the whole body. Mankind through the tuition of the animals is connecting more easily to the higher consciousness which governs universal life and beginning to realize that surrender to that consciousness through instinct, or in humans, intuition, is our lifeline to survival. Do you measure intelligence on the size of the frontal lobe or on the intelligence in every cell of the body. It has been discovered recently that memory is stored in the heart not the brain, and cellular memory extends not only beyond the individual body but the individual life. "We are all one, every single little quark is united in the same cosmic soup. There are spaces but no boundaries. Boundaries are only thoughts." Prima, speaking for the Herd in One With the Herd."
